Why would anyone choose two Texas musicians with other diverse backgrounds to represent them as their Maui Realtors? Our vast Maui market knowledge, of course. From Wailea to Kihei all the way to Kula and Haiku…just ask them…they know and love Maui.
They have been buying and selling properties across Maui for over 20 years. It all began in 1996, Caron had long been obsessed with a Brady Bunch episode she had seen as a child and loved the original Hawaii Five-O. Caron had a great life in Dallas. She owned a record label, was a partner in several of Dallas’ most trendy restaurants and bars, played in and produced bands, and had recently sold her medical device company.
Deborah had been a rambling spirit, after graduating from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a secondary school Teaching Certificate; She put her meager belongings in storage and hit the road with a band traveling around the world. Her band played in many countries and they also did USO tours for our troops! She also was a professional singer in Dallas for many years. She bought her first house in Dallas from her earnings as a singer! She thought Maui was a great place to visit, but had never considered moving here.
But…Caron’s childhood aspirations prevailed.
They bought their first house in Maui Meadows in 2000. They fell in love with it. Suddenly, instead of visiting Maui every 6 weeks, they were flying over every 2 weeks. They got the Maui real estate bug and bought a condo at Kamaole Sands in south Kihei for their guests.
Finally, in 2004, they made Maui their permanent residence, and their passion for Maui real estate grew.
Buying a condo in Wailuku gave them a creative outlet and their keen eye for remodeling began. To expand their real estate knowledge, they bought an empty parcel of land in Kaimanu Estates to create their dream home from beginning to end. They then elected to buy an existing home so they could focus more on enjoying Maui. They always kept their eye on the real estate market looking for unique offerings and amazing deals!
Their next real estate purchase landed them in Kula. They loved it. Deborah loved Kula in a crazy way. There is nothing like the air and climate in Kula; however, Caron thinks cold is 76 degrees.
So to Haiku they went! A compromise that turned into a perfect fit for everyone. Here they are 12 years later with dogs, cats and a goat farm!
They love to share the personalities of each property. Condo, home, or land–each is unique in its own way.
They have been buying and selling condos throughout Wailea and Kihei for the last several years, owning in complexes as varied as Kanani Wailea to Sugar Beach Resort. They educate their clients on the Maui market offering them insight on the best Maui deals and steals. With their personal and professional market knowledge, they can help you find the perfect place for you. We have one golden rule: Clients come first.
Having a teaching background, Deborah does her best to explain the nuances of the Maui market to include vacation rental ownership, the joys of remodeling on Maui and the variances of Maui’s microclimates.
Caron is a joy and works well with clients and realtors alike. She is fun-loving and a natural negotiator. She will fight on behalf of the client then leave everyone laughing. She takes enormous pride in servicing our clients and is the most wonderful gift a team could have. Her enthusiasm is infectious. They both pride themselves in giving their clients 110%.
Working with “The Girls” provides you with not only a great deal of security in their abilities; you will have fun, too.
We want to welcome you to Maui. Your stay may be brief or it may be for a lifetime but the one thing we do know…you are missing out if you don’t give Maui a try. Or if you already live Maui, we can help you find your next perfect place!
Back to the musician and fun part….Caron and Deborah won the The Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award in 2019 for Best Rock Album with their band Deborah Vial Band. Occasionally called the Nā Hōkū Awards or Hoku Awards, it is the premier music award in the state of Hawaii. They are considered to be Hawaii’s equivalent of the Grammy Awards.
